Just north of the town is Swindon and Cricklade Railway, where visitors can enjoy train rides and absorb Swindon's railway history and nearby Roves Farm is a joy for children with the opportunity to meet and feed its wide range of animals

In nearby Wroughton there’s Studley Grange Butterfly World and Craft Village as well as the Science Museum Library and Archives.
