Salisbury Cathedral announce details of their Christmas Carol Services for groups

14th March 2013

Categories: News

Salisbury Cathedral is holding two special Christmas Carol Services for groups at 2pm on Tuesday 10 December and Thursday 12 December.

This is a marvellous opportunity to hear the renowned cathedral choir sing, listen to favourite Christmas readings, join in singing the best traditional carols, and enjoy seasonal refreshments of hot mulled wine and delicious mince pies in the cloisters immediately after the service.

Tickets are just £10 - £14 per person for groups of 10+. For further information, or to book your group tickets, call Hannah Paye on 01722 555120 or email: groups@salcath.co.uk

And Salisbury has its own German-inspired Christmas market from Friday 29 November to Saturday 21 December. Located just a five minute walk from the Cathedral in the Guildhall Square, groups may like to ‘make a day’ of it and combine a visit to the town and Christmas market before arriving at the Cathedral. The city’s famous Charter Market (held in the Market Square every Tuesday and Saturday all year around) can also be visited by those who book to come to the carols on Tuesday 10 December.
