Make these Easter holidays egg-stra special with fun activities and beautiful places to stay
8 March 2016
The Easter holidays are fast approaching and, with them, the age-old question of what to do with the children. VisitWiltshire already has all the answers with its comprehensive list of activities and suggestions of where to stay for a really happy holiday.
Here is just some of what is on offer:
Children love decorating Easter eggs so head down to Whitehall Garden Centre, Lacock, where workshops will take place every day from 25 March to 10 April. They will have the opportunity to create beautiful designs for both eggs and egg boxes and be able to take home a free stencil kit. Every day from 10.30am to 4.00pm, £5.99 for non-members and £3.99 for Little Acorn members.

On Easter weekend, why not head to Crofton Pumping Station outside Marlborough to see the pumping station in steam? The Grade 1 Listed building houses two magnificent Cornish beam en-gines, one of which is the oldest working beam engine in the world, still capable of doing the job for which it was installed. On-site parking and café also available.
