Northwood Cottages are ideally located in North Dorset - which is considered a premier tourist destination in England. From North Dorset, both the seaside and world famous attractions like Bath and Stonehenge are within easy reach without having to stay in the crowded coastal areas. There are over 180 attractions to visit. From castles and cathedrals to gardens and man-made attractions. This charming house, built about 1850 is situated on the outskirts of Manston, a peaceful/relaxing rural village.
With a country pub a short walk away. The Bluebell Cottage has recently been modernised internally. The cottage is self-contained and centrally heated to make a warm holiday cottage that is attached to other buildings on the side. There is 1 double bedroom (downstairs), a twin room (upstairs), can sleep a total of 4. The bathrooms have showers, wash basins and toilets, the sitting room has a gas log fire, there is an open plan dining area and a fully equipped kitchen (includes gas cooking hob, electric oven, dishwasher, fridge and microwave). There is also a private patio with barbecue. All sheets, toiletries, power, water etc. are included in the price. A shared laundry is available if required (washing machine, dryer and ironing) at a small additional charge.
The house is centrally heated and each room has individual controls. The owner can provide set evening meals with prior notice and there is also a daytime snack menu available. There is ample off road parking and a garden shared with the owner and another holiday cottage, which includes other barbecue facilities. At the back of the property is a field. Children have swings and a slide area. The whole house in non smoking. Advance booking is recommended, as the cottage is very popular. Free WIFI in all rooms.
