Studio Theatre is Salisbury’s leading amateur drama company and is a member of the nationwide Little Theatre Guild. Its newly built 92-seat theatre in Ashley Road opened in May 2006. It mounts at least five full productions a year, which include modern plays as well as classics such as Shaw, Sheridan, Chekov or Noel Coward. Each summer it stages an open-air production in a beautiful local venue. It also mounts occasional touring productions such as murder mystery evenings or themed entertainments (01722 501429).
