Website
The remains of a villa which once stood in the centre of a large farming estate. Its history spans the period from the Iron Age to the 5th century AD. Today you can walk around the villa and visit the museum which displays fascinating artefacts found on the site. Discover what life was like for the Roman Britons who lived here 1600 years ago.
The site has a small but well stocked gift shop and light refreshments including ice creams are available. The Museum building is completely accessible to wheelchair users, however the outside is mainly grass and may cause some problems. We hold regular family friendly events throughout the season and have a vibrant programme of bookable activities for schools. Further information is available on our website.
