Course leader Dr. Anthony G. Reddie is a Research Fellow and Consultant in Black Theological Studies for the Queen's Foundation and the Methodist Church.
He is the author of a number of books and is the editor of Black Theology: An International Journal. He is also a local preacher.
This course seeks to enable participants to explore the role of drama, role-play and interaction in theological reflection.
How can improvisation, a method borrowed from Jazz music help us in thinking creatively about God?
Sessions will include The History of Drama in Christian Practice, Using jazz and improvisation as a means of "doing theology", The use of Experiential exercises in theological reflection, Drama as a means of theological reflection, Dramatic improvisation and liberation of the marginalised.
