Gail and Peter Garbutt run a small family bed and breakfast business offering a friendly stay in their comfortable spacious home. Castleton House is an attractive period property which has been recently decorated and restored.

Mere is a one minute drive south of the A303 mid way between London and Cornwall, and a five minute drive from the National Trust's house and gardens at Stourhead. Castleton House is in the perfect location to visit much of South West England including Longleat House and Safari Park, Stonehenge, Glastonbury, Wells, Shaftesbury, Bath, Salisbury and much more.

Off street parking is available on request, and there is free parking outside the front door. We are within a short walk from local pubs and restaurants offering evening meals and lunches.
