Set in the charming walled garden of the owners’ house, this small brick and flint building has been converted with taste and flair into a delightful cottage for two people. Its location, 7 miles to the north of Salisbury, makes it an ideal base for exploring the city with its famous cathedral, superb ‘close’ and wide range of shops. Close by is the beautiful Woodford Valley, much sought after by keen anglers, and there are many other places of interest within easy reach; the prehistoric sites of Stonehenge and Avebury, the attractive town of Marlborough and the Georgian city of Bath, to name but a few. For outdoor enthusiasts there is excellent golf nearby at Highpost as well as interesting walks or cycle rides on Salisbury Plain, along the Kennet and Avon canal (narrow boat trips are available) and in the New Forest to the south.

Garden Cottage provides extremely comfortable accommodation with careful attention to detail and excellent use of space available. Visitors may stroll in the owners’ lovely grounds and, by arrangement, share use of the solar heated outdoor swimming pool or just sit on the private patio enjoying a glass of wine while admiring the colourful herbaceous borders all around.

Entrance from patio to small hallway. Kitchen/living room with sofa and dining table, and wall mounted flat screen TV. Well equipped fitted kitchen area. Sliding door to shower room and separate wc. Stairs from hall to attractive bedroom with king size bed and high quality linen. Built-in cupboards, two armchairs and flatscreen TV.

Outside: private patio with table/chairs. Shared use of owners’ beautifully maintained gardens and grounds.
