Hillcroft is a detached house built at the beginning of the last century, in a very quiet road just 15 minutes walk from the centre of the city. If arriving by train arrangements can be made for clients to be met. Salisbury is one and half hours by train from London.
The nearest Airports are Southampton (40 minutes). Bristol and London Heathrow are one and half to two hours' drive away. The accommodation comprises 1 double room with a hand basin, and 1 twin room and both rooms share one bathroom with shower upstairs, one shower room downstairs. Full English Breakfast is provided, or a Continental Breakfast if preferred. Charges are £60 for a double or twin room with two people, including breakfast, and £38 for a single person in a double or twin room including breakfast. Comfortably furnished with new beds with firm mattresses and antique furniture.
There is tea/coffee/hot chocolate making facilities and a digital TV in each room. There is parking outside the house.
The city has many attractions - the beautiful Cathedral, the Museum, an excellent theatre and cinema and Old Sarum (which is the sight of the original Cathedral) just 1 mile out of the city. There are other attractions within easy reach - in the small town of Wilton there is the the Wilton Carpet Factory and outlet shop which is 4 miles away, Roche Court 10 miles where there is always an exhibition of sculptures, Heale House Gardens 6 miles, Stonehenge 10 miles, Stourhead 30 miles, Longleat Safari Park 30 miles, the New Forest is 40 minutes drive, the coast is 1 hour's drive, and Bath and Winchester are 1 hour's drive. Beautiful countryside is only minutes away, with good walks. The house is 15 minutes walk to Odstock hospital so it is convenient for those wishing to visit patients.
There are many excellent country pubs and a variety of good restaurants in the city. The city has many interesting churches and there are often concerts being held in them. There is a Golf Course 2 miles away, and a Tennis Club a few minutes from Hillcroft. There is a public swimming pool in the city. Hillcroft has a warm and friendly atmosphere where clients are made to feel at home. Children of all ages are welcome. There is no smoking in the house.

From the East . Take the M3 and turn off at Junction 8 onto the A303. Come off A303 onto the A343 to Middle Wallop - this becomes the A30. Follow it into Salisbury. When you come to first big roundabout on Salisbury ring road go straight across - across next roundabout (signed to Blandford on A354) and left at the next roundabout. Go up the hill and over two sets of traffic lights - and at the mini-roundabout go straight over and Meyrick Avenue is the next turning on the right. Hillcroft is halfway up on the righthand side behind a fence.
From the West - If approaching on the A 30 or A 36 - make for Wilton. At large roundabout turn right if coming on the A 30 and go straight across if coming on the A 36. At the traffic lights turn right. Follow road for 2 1/2 miles and at traffic lights turn right - go over next lights and at the mini-roundabout go straight across and Meyrick Avenue is the next turning on the right. Hillcroft is halfway up on the righthand side behind a fence. If approaching on the A 303 - turn off to Hindon on the B3089. Follow through several villages until you join the A 30 in Barford St. Martin. Continue on to Wilton following directions as approaching on the A 30.
There are good trains from London - Waterloo Station, which run every hour. Long distance coaches also run from London to Salisbury and from other parts of the country. Arrangements can be made for clients to be met at the train or bus station
