Type: Bed & Breakfast

Little Langford Farmhouse, a grand and fine example of Victorian Gothic architecture with crenellations, lancet windows and a turreted entrance hall. It is a working tenanted dairy and arable farm owned by the Earl of Pembroke and situated 7 miles from Salisbury in the beautiful Wiltshire Downs. It stands in its own grounds with large pleasant gardens which guests are invited to relax in.

The Victorian theme is continued in the decor with damask curtains and fine period furniture. One bedroom has a finely carved Arts and Craft suite, another blue striped walls and brass bed. All bedrooms are en suite or have private facilities, and have TVs, tea/coffee making facilities, hair dryers and delightful countryside views.

There is a billiard room with three-quarters size table; this opens to the garden terrace which is pretty and cosy. The farm is 568 hectares and is in the renowned Wylye Valley. Some of the land is in an environmentally-sensitive area and is also a site of Special Scientific Interest because of the wild flowers and butterflies.

Guests are welcome to walk and also enjoy watching the cows being milked or the calves fed. This is an excellent location for visiting Stonehenge, Salisbury, Bath, Wilton House, Stourhead, Winchester, Old Sarum, the New Forest, Longleat and Heale Garden. All within 15-60 minute drive. Close by are village pubs offering excellent food at a reasonable price in a friendly atmosphere.
