Our family run lavender farm is now offering a unique experience of a self catering, newly built holiday cabin. The contemporary open plan kitchen/living area with two en-suite bedrooms all beautifully decorated will provide a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Large patio windows lead out onto a south facing veranda and private garden which overlooks 3 acres of English lavender creating a "little taste of Provence".

The Lavender farm offers beautiful scenery throughout the yea,. from breath taking deep blue lavender and attractive sunflowers during the summer months to the frost and snow that settles on the lavender mounds through the winter. The field of lavender attracts natures' visitors, such as deer, buzzards, pheasants and foxes who regularly visit.

Lavender Lea is situated within 1 mile of the Northern Edge of the glorious New Forest with its acres of natural beauty of heath and woodlands and famous for its free roaming ponies, cattle, donkeys and foraging pigs. The lovely ancient city of Salisbury with its magnificent cathedral is just 12miles away. Southampton with its fantastic West Quay shopping mall and leisure complex also offers easy access to the Isle of Wight and just a short distance away you will find several coastlines to relax and enjoy.

Road Directions

From the M27:

Come off at junction 2 and take the A36 towards Salisbury. At the first roundabout go straight over heading towards Salisbury. At the second roundabout go straight over heading towards Salisbury. New Forest Lavender is 2 miles further along on the right hand side down Giles Lane after the BP Garage, north of Plaitford.

From Salisbury:

Follow the A36 towards Southampton. Go straight ahead at the traffic lights for 5 miles. You will pass the Royal Jaipur Indian restaurant on your right hand side, carry on a mile and you will find a left hand turn down Giles Lane just before entering Plaitford. We are situated on the right after 500yrds.
