This Grade II listed, 16th century house is situated right in the centre of medieval Salisbury, a stone’s throw from the St Ann’s Gate pedestrian entrance into the Cathedral Close and within easy walking distance of pubs and restaurants. Although fronting part of the one-way traffic system through the city centre, the house has effective double glazing (1st & 2nd floor) and “triple” glazing (ground floor). It also benefits from a secluded, courtyard garden with steps leading up to an oak decked area above it.

Salisbury’s premier attractions, its magnificent 13th century cathedral, Mompesson House (National Trust), the Medieval Hall and the Salisbury Museum are right on the doorstep.
The city also has a flourishing theatre – the Salisbury Playhouse – and hosts an annual international arts festival in May. Prehistoric Stonehenge, stately homes and gardens such as Wilton House, Longleat and Stourhead and the New Forest National Park are all within a short drive.

Steep stairs lead up to the 2nd floor: master bedroom with 5’ double bed and dressing area, adjoining sitting area with 4ft double sofa bed and space for a cot. En suite shower room/wc.
