We are ideally situated between the beautiful city of Salisbury and the New Forest National Park. Located in a peaceful country lane just outside the village of Woodfalls, it’s perfect for a quite relaxing break.
The apartment is part of a modern detached property offering spacious split-level accommodation with separate entrance, kitchen, en-suite bathroom and own private gardens. The main room is light and airy with views over the garden and open farmland. For everyone’s comfort this is a non-smoking apartment.
Equipped to a high standard it makes an extremely comfortable holiday base for two. We welcome walkers, cyclists and golfers and have a bike and boot room in the garage below especially for muddy boots and outdoor equipment.
Local attractions include Salisbury & Winchester Cathedral, Stonehenge, Old Sarum, Old Waldour Castle, Rockbourne Roman Villa, Portsmouth and its tall ships. For gardens & stately homes, choose from Breamore House, Mottisfont Abbey with its fragrant rose gardens, Exbury world famous for rhododendrons azaleas & Camellias. Mompesson House in the Cathedral Close and Stourhead are two well loved National Trust gardens. For those who want to explore a little further there is the Isle of Wight and Brownsea Island. We are 20 Miles from Bournemouth, Southampton and its Beaches.
When it comes to eating out there is a superb choice of local pubs restaurants and takeaways. Salisbury and Fordingbidge have Farmers markets which offer local cheese, meat, vegetables and wine. Downton has its own award winning brewery, The Hopback Brewery; its Summer Lightning Ale can be found in the area.

From Salisbury take A338 towards Downton and Ringwood. Turn left at traffic lights by Bull Hotel and go through Downton village on B0380 for 1 mile, crossing two small bridges and a pinch point to slow trafic. As you leave the village and climb towards Woodfalls there is a pinch point with traffic lights. In the middle of the pinch point turn right into the bottom of Slab lane (a narrow lane. After 0.75 mile the lane splits, bear right and Wich Hazel is third property on right.
