VisitWiltshire will be exhibiting for the second consecutive year at Best of Britain and Ireland where the county will be focusing on its year of anniversaries which includes 200 years of the Kennet & Avon Canal, 175 years of the Great Western Railway, 150 years of Salisbury & South Wiltshire Museum and 200 years of ancient Wiltshire archaeology.
In addition to the anniversaries, Wiltshire's premier family attraction, Longleat, is opening 'Animal Adventure', where children and adults will have an opportunity to directly interact with the animals. Also new for 2010 is Pear Tree Apartments in Salisbury which opens in June offering high quality serviced apartments in the centre of the city.
Alun Williams, Head of Partnership, VisitWiltshire is looking forward to a great year ahead for tourism in the county: "Last year we experienced one of the highest ever in terms of visitor figures and with all the new openings and anniversaries in 2010 we're expecting the same and more for 2010.
He continues "The great tourism offering in the county is evident in our new brochures, which will be available on the stand at the exhibition. We have more product included in our guides than ever before both in terms of wide ranging graded accommodation and fun attractions for all the family. Plus our new Groups Visits guide is the perfect planning tool for any group travel organiser."
VisitWiltshire can be found at stand H10.
