The Manor House, dating back to the 14th Century, nestles in a delightful wooded valley in the picturesque village of Castle Combe on the southern edge of the Cotswolds. 26 acres of gardens and parkland surround the hotel with lawns sweeping down to the trout stocked river. A stone stairway leads to the romantic Italian gardens and surrounding woodland, which provides some wonderful walking country. The rooms in the main house are luxuriously furnished with antiques. Most of the bedrooms have delightful views, 4 poster beds, fireplaces and oak beams. The Bybrook Restaurant has a Michelin star and has been awarded a city and guild award for afternoon tea.

Road Directions

From the M4 motorway . Leave the M4 at J18 (signposted Bath, Stroud), then at Tormarton Interchange roundabout take the 1st exit onto Bath Road - A46 (signposted Stroud). “Cross Hands Hotel”, at traffic signals turn right onto the B4040 (signposted Malmesbury).

Continue forward onto the B4040. Entering Acton Turville. Bear right onto the B4039
(signposted Chippenham). Bear left onto the B4039 entering Burton. Turn right onto Dunns Lane (signposted Castle Combe). Entering Castle Combe. Drive through village and at hump bridge, turn right into The Manor House drive, the gates will open automatically.
