If your group enjoys shopping you'll be spoilt for choice!
At Swindon's McArthur Glen Designer Outlet everything's under one roof. The imaginatively restored GWR Victorian locomotive works contains all the familiar designer labels plus a wide choice of places to eat.
At the other end of the scale you'll find that Wiltshire's market towns are still full of those small, independent speciality shops that are becoming an endangered species elsewhere. Go to Bradford on Avon to browse around the galleries and antique shops. Don't miss the little covered market at Devizes, or Marlborough's stylish, spacious main thoroughfare.
Salisbury is full of character. Streets like Fish Row, Butcher Row and Poultry Cross reflect the city's heritage and old trades, while up-and-coming Winchester Street is the place for speciality shops. Nearby is Wilton Shopping Village, an attractive riverside complex created around an 18th-century courtyard.
