2 day itinerary

Day 1

Morning - Visit the Science Museum Swindon, which contains over 18,000 items including collections on air transport, land transport, agricultural machinery, firefighting and space rockets. This museum is closed to the public except for pre-booked tours and special events.

Lunch - Enjoy lunch in Swindon

Afternoon - Visitors can enjoy the thrill of circuit driving in their own cars and motorcycles at Castle Combe Racing Circuit or as a leading provider of gift experiences, the chance to find out how it feels to be a racing driver by driving a racing car, a sports car or a high performance saloon around the 1.85 mile circuit.

Overnight in or around Chippenham

Day 2

Morning - Visit Longleat, the star of BBC's hugely popular Animal Park series and discover the animals in the Safari Park, including lions and tigers, giraffes, zebras and monkeys. Jump aboard the Safari Boat for a sea lion-escorted cruise or find yourself going round in circles in the Longleat Hedge Maze.

Lunch - Longleat

Afternoon - Explore Longleat House, the magnificent home of the 7th Marquess of Bath. Set in 900 acres of 'Capability Brown' landscaped grounds, this family home is widely regarded as one of the best examples of high Elizabethan architecture in Britain.
