This 18th Century Inn, set in the picturesque Wiltshire countryside, has award winning gardens and its own cricket field, which is overlooked by our restaurant where, on a summer's day, Sunday lunch is served to the sound of leather on willow.

Inside are exposed beams and winter log fires where you can enjoy a romantic candlelight supper in the older part of the inn.

Our menu is both traditional and modern with our Specials board a "must" to try. We are Cask Marque Accredited and members of the British Institute of Inn Keeping (MBII) so a warm welcome is always assured to compliment our 6X ales and varied wine lists.

Road Directions

From Trowbridge to Radstock (A366). Approximately 3 miles to Wingfield crossroads (A366/B3109). Turn left on B3109 towards Frome. The Poplars Inn is 100 yards on right.
