The award winning conservatory restaurant is the perfect setting in which to enjoy excellent English cuisine using the best of fresh ingredients cooked with style and flair often seasoned with herbs from the hotel's own kitchen garden. Head Chef Alan Postill specialises in Modern English cooking and his food has been the recipient of many awards, including two rosettes from the AA.
Each of the seventeen individually decorated rooms and suites is named after a character associated with the village of Purton. For example Anne Hyde, the mother of Queen Mary and Queen Anne, James Kibblewhite the runner, Nevil Maskelyne the astronomer royal and E H Budd the cricketer. Our executive rooms all have Spa baths and king-size or 4-poster beds.
