Self drive classic car hire is a great way to explore Wiltshire and to live your dream of driving one of these outstandingly stylish vehicles.

Among the cars to choose from at Vintage Classics of Melksham are Jaguars (E-Type, or MKII of Inspector Morse fame), Austin Healey, MGC Roadster, Alfa Romeo GTV, Alfa Romeo Spider and Audi quattro turbo (as featured in the BBC’s Ashes to Ashes).

New for 2012 is a Triumph Stag 4-seater convertible – red of course! Stags were produced from 1970 until 1978, and the Vintage Classics car is a 1972/3 model with a manual gearbox and overdrive. For a limited period the Triumph Stag will be offered at £165 for a 24-hour hire… so book early to avoid disappointment.

From the glorious medieval city of Salisbury to the rural idyll of Castle Combe and the World Heritage Site of Stonehenge, there can be few more enjoyable ways to view this mystical and romantic area than from a classic vehicle.
