At 40 square miles the Cotswold Water Park is approximately the same size as the Island of Jersey. Inhabited for over 6000 years, the Water Park has developed over the last 50 years as a result of sand & gravel extraction.
Today there are a number of Activities Centres based within the Water Park - they offer tuition, short courses, taster days and supply equipment for many water and land based sports, from fishing or windsurfing to Wilderness skills or Aerial adventures. Occasional organised fossil trails.
Nature Reserves provide a protected haven for wildlife. They are a magical place to visit throughout the year and with free access, everyone has an opportunity to experience nature at its best, orchids, dragonflies, Daubenton Bats and Snakeshead Fritillary are just some of the species that may be found.
There are also 150km of bridleways, pathways and cycleways to help you explore some of the 140 lakes.
High quality accommodation and cosy inns complete the Cotswold Water Park experience.
