Fireworks & Bonfire Spectacular: Lydiard Park

Entertainment during the evening, including a live band. Various refreshment stalls. Safety Warning: Please leave all your own fireworks and sparklers at home! This is to ensure your own and other's safety whilst in the park. The use of fireworks and sparklers is banned at the event.
The display is run by Swindon and North Wiltshire Scouts. 1st Purton and Lydiard Scout Group oversee the organisation of the event. It is one of the two largest Firework and Bonfire events in the Swindon area and takes place annually. The display is designed and fired by members of a team that came second in the 2007 British Firework Display Championships. Please allow enough time to enter the event before the display begins, and allow 30-45mins at the end if leaving the site by car.

Road Directions

From Swindon town centre follow signs to West Swindon, then M4 (West). Continue along A3102 to Blagrove Roundabout, turn right onto Whitehill Way, take the 2nd turning left onto Hook Street, the entrance to Lydiard Park is along on the right-hand-side.
