Situated along a country lane, on the edge of the village of Shrewton, Drovers' Barn looks out onto an idyllic 2 acre garden by the River Till, which is shared only with the owners, whose thatched cottage is some 20 yards away.

The barn provides a very central touring base, with easy access to the A303 (1 ½ miles away), making London 1 ½ - 2 hours' drive. Wiltshire's most famous pre-historic sites, Stonehenge and Avebury, the cathedral city of Salisbury and the World Heritage city of Bath are all within easy driving distance.

Accommodation:
Drovers Barn has all its accommodation at ground floor level. Entrance into a large, attractive open plan living room, open to roof height, comprising a sitting area with log burner, dining area and well equipped fitted kitchen. 2 bedrooms - one twin plus additional sleeping area for 2 children, access being via a small, removable 'apple' ladder. Interconnecting double bedroom with brass & iron bed and door to a secluded garden terrace. Bathroom/w.c. adjoining the twin bedroom with roll top bath & separate shower cubicle. Utility room.

Secluded garden areas by the living room and double bedroom (barbecue provided) and shared use of other parts of the large garden, including a small hut by the river, which is a site of special scientific interest and a haven for wildlife. In the wood over the river the owners keep Oxford Sandy and Blacks rare breed pigs - a delight for children.
