Centrally situated for Stonehenge, Avebury, City of Bath, Salisbury, Bowood Country House and Longleat Safari Park. The Caen Hill flight of locks are within walking distance, as is Devizes and the Roundway Downs with its own white horse.

There are two public houses, both serving good food, within walking distance.

Embrea is a large detached family house with extensive rural views. The large rear garden backs onto open farmland. Garden furniture and a patio area are available for guests together with a barbecue area. Garden games are also available. We are proud to supply our own free range eggs and, as the seasons permit, homemade preserves and bread.

Road Directions

We are situated approximately 1 mile from Devizes town centre on the A342 towards Chippenham before entering the village of Rowde and will be found on the left hand side of the road about 600 yards after passing The Queen's Head Public House.

Public Transport Directions

Regular buses run between Chippenham/ Calne/ Trowbridge. Devizes and Marlborough. The bus stop is located immediately to the left of the property entrance.
