Orchard Close is tucked away in a quiet spot with off-road parking, just five minutes’ walk from the historic High Street. The en-suite bedrooms all have digital television, radio, a hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Should you wish, you are welcome to use the lounge/dining room and garden for relaxation during your stay. There is a small fridge for milk, food or wine/beers and you can always bring a take-away home to eat in the dining room, or in the garden if the weather’s good! It is an ideal place to base yourself for sightseeing, crop circling, walking or cycling. Bicycles can be stored in the dry and in the unlikely event of rain (!) clothes can be dried out overnight. An International Jazz Festival is held in the town in July and the Marlborough College Summer School is held for 3 weeks in summer. A warm welcome awaits you along with good home cooking and a real feeling of home-from-home. We are very happy to cater for any special dietary requirements with prior notice. A deposit is required upon booking which is non-refundable. However, if the room can be re-let, the deposit will be refunded in full.

Road Directions

Please see location map on our website www.orchardclose-bb.com. From town centre follow the A4 signed to Hungerford. You will go over a mini roundabout, slow right down and immediately on your left will see the sign for WYE LANE ( If you get to the zebra crossing you have gone too far). Take sharp left into Wye Lane and do not be alarmed at how narrow it is-it is wide enough! Follow the tarmac road bearing right then left to the very end and you will arrive at Orchard Close-a white house . Please park where indicated for Band B.
