Sarum College, a Grade I listed building, is situated in Salisbury’s cathedral close. An elegant 17th century house designed by Sir Christopher Wren and enjoys uninterrupted views of Salisbury’s medieval cathedral.
Sarum College is a perfect place to stay for individuals or groups in comfortable, reasonably priced accommodation in welcoming surroundings.
Accommodation – individual and spacious accommodation is provided in the recently refurbished Baker Wing of the college. Five single en suite rooms, andfour twin en suite rooms (twin rooms also have comfortable sitting rooms) are available on the first and second floors within the college. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided in all bedrooms. Some rooms have views over the gardens of the close and some with cathedral views. A duty manager is on call overnight.
Catering – the college has its own licensed bar and common room with easy chairs, and drinks machine. A TV is available. A lift has recently been installed to all floors. Tours of the Cathedral and spire can be arranged through the college. There is limited car parking available within the college grounds. The library is an important theological resource for students and visitors. The library offers study space and Internet access. The college bookshop is open Monday – Saturday.

From Southampton direction:
A36 to Salisbury. At roundabout by College, first left, then into right-hand lane. Next roundabout turn right into Exeter Street. At second traffic lights keep in left-hand lane and turn left. At traffic lights, turn left into Cathedral Close through the High Street archway. Turn left. Sarum College is approx 300 yds on left.
From other routes, follow the ring road to the College roundabout (road signs will be for A338 Ringwood/Bournemouth) - then follow as above.
Regular buses and trains serve Salisbury. The rail and bus stations are about a twenty minute walk from Sarum College. Taxis available outside of the rail station.
