Southdown is a spacious detached house in Roundway Village, a quiet hamlet just outside the historic market town of Devizes, on the edge of the North Wessex Downs AONB. A footpath running past the house leads to the canal and town centre, a short walk away. As well as B&B, we offer tailor-made walking holidays with our guests staying in our home on a B&B basis. There is a large garden and plenty of parking space on the drive. You are welcome to enjoy the garden and hot tub (bring swimsuits, towels etc provided). The large garage is equipped with storage for your walking or cycling kit & cycles, along with a sink and washing facilities. Our 3 bedrooms are modern and comfortably furnished with all facilities to ensure your comfort, including good quality fittings, flat screen Freeview TVs, bathrobes, cotton bedding, ample storage, mirrors, hairdryers, torches, easy chair etc. There is a guest lounge with sofas and a computer and a range of maps, walking books, photos and our personalised walk instructions as well as books, magazines and newspapers for you to borrow during your stay.

A range of hot and cold drinks, biscuits and fruit and further information can be found in the gallery between the bedrooms. Breakfast is taken in the conservatory or dining room depending on the time of year. Both overlook the back garden. We will set you up for the day with a good, healthy, breakfast. Food is of good quality and sourced locally where possible – sometimes from our own garden and often includes home-baked items. We are holders of the Wiltshire Breakfast Award.

On your arrival back from your day's walking or touring you will be greeted with tea or coffee and home baked cake or biscuits, served in the conservatory or garden in warmer months or the guest lounge when cooler. Packed lunches and evening meals can be provided subject to adequate notice.
