Situated in an ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’, with gardens overlooking the rolling Wiltshire Downs, we are within a short walk of Marlborough’s historical and stylish town centre. Around us lies magnificent countryside under huge skies, perfect in which to relax and unwind.

Converted from the farm buildings and stables that were part of the adjacent Manton Weir Farm, Teal Cottage offers ideal accommodation in which to enjoy a comfortable and relaxing stay here in Marlborough, Wiltshire. We have created rooms for you that are special and we are confident you won’t be disappointed. They are attractively furnished, restful and spacious with king-size beds, soft cotton bed linen and luxuriously fitted en suites. Each one has TV/DVD/CD, clock radio, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. Single occupancy is available on request and our twin room can also be a double, with a 6ft bed!

You will be served a delicious breakfast in The Garden, or if you prefer, outside on the terrace on fine mornings, Our breakfasts include high quality, freshly cooked, locally produced ingredients and home made breads, scones, muffins and preserves. There are vegetarian options and special diets can usually be catered for with prior notice.

Teal Cottage is ideally situated to explore all this beautiful part of England has to offer. Close by is the World Heritage site of Avebury and the ancient is renowned for the intriguing crop circles that appear as if by magic. The historic market town of Marlborough, home to the international Jazz Festival, offers stylish shopping and a variety of eating places. The Marlborough College Summer School creates an exciting and cosmopolitan atmosphere here each year. Under an hour’s drive away is the awe inspiring Stonehenge, the beautiful cities of Bath and Salisbury and many other attractions.

Marlborough is easily accessible from London, just 60 minutes from Heathrow by car and only 90 minutes from both Birmingham and Cardiff. Just far enough for a complete break! Train and coach links are close by.

Our prices range from £45 (single occupancy minimum) to £70 (double occupancy maximum). We are open all year round, except Christmas and New Year. We regret that we are unable to accommodate young children or accept pets. Payment is by cash or guaranteed cheque only.

From North and West, take M4 jct 15 then A346 to Marlborough and the A4 to Manton. From East take M4 jct 14, A338 to Hungerford, A4 to Marlborough and Manton. From South, A346 from Salisbury then the A4 through Marlborough to Manton.
