This is a truly delightful Grade II listed cottage, skillfully restored from an old forge and set in the grounds of a country house in the Wylye Valley village of Heytesbury, approx. half an hour’s drive from the cathedral city of Salisbury and about 40 minutes from the World Heritage, Georgian city of Bath, with its many architectural splendours and state-of-the-art spa complex.

The Old Forge Cottage is to a very high specification throughout and provides spacious living and sleeping accommodation for couples or a small family. There is a gated, gravelled garden area with barbecue to the rear of the cottage and visitors are welcome to use the owner’s hard tennis court by arrangement. N.B. shallow pond with fish to the front of the cottage - small children must be supervised.

Entrance from gravelled parking and garden area into a well equipped kitchen/dining room with fitted units, breakfast bar and dining table. Attractive, very comfortable sitting room with “study” area and open fireplace containing a woodburner. Carpeted stairs to 1st floor landing. 2 bedrooms: 1 double with 5ft bed and dressing area and 1 twin room with an extra cot bed for a small child. Bathroom/wc with hand shower attachment to the bath.
