Type: Museum

Bronze Age finds from the barrows surrounding Stonehenge. Henge gallery interprets Stonehenge, Avebury, Woodhenge, Durrington Walls. Finds from West Kennet Long Barrow, Windmill Hill, Woodhenge and Avebury in Neolithic gallery. Local history gallery with hands-on displays, popular with children. Temporary exhibitions of art and social history. Also Iron Age, Roman, Saxon and medieval galleries. Designated as a museum with an outstanding collection.
