By Rail

Regular services into London (Paddington) means that the capital is just one hour away.

There are also direct trains from Swindon to Bath, Bristol, Cardiff and Cheltenham.

Swindon's location means that travelling deeper into the West Country taking in Devon and Cornwall is also straight forward.

Buses around the town are primarily run by Thamesdown Transport, while buses to other towns and villages are run by Stagecoach Swindon.

By Road

Swindon is bordered by the M4 junctions 15 & 16 and the A419.

Situated to the south of the town is Wroughton Park & Ride.

Car Parking

There are 30 main car parks in Swindon, 24 in the Town Centre and a further 6 in Old Town.

Shopmobility

Swindon's Shopmobility scheme is available for anyone with limited mobility and provides a selection of manually-propelled and electrically-powered wheelchairs and scooters. The aim of Shopmobility is simply to help people with mobility difficulties to be able to shop and use the facilities in Swindon's town centre.
