Why not join one of Swindon's clubs or societies?

The Town has in excess of 390 different groups covering a huge range of interests and hobbies.

For the people with a creative flair there are a host of art groups as well as many craft groups covering embroidery, weaving, woodcarving, lace making and much more.

People who enjoy performing can join one of the many choirs, drama groups, bands, orchestras or dance groups, while local conservation groups look after the areas parks, plants, nature reserves and wildlife.

For those with a competitive edge then local chess, bridge, paintball groups are available.

If you would like to learn about other cultures then you can join one of the groups who meet to learn about Spain, France or even Turkey.

Many historical societies meet to enjoy Swindon's past while numerous charitable business groups work hard to bring funds to deserving causes.
