River Ray Parkway

River Ray Parkway

The River Ray Parkway is a recreation and conservation route running for 8 miles and roughly following the route of the River Ray along the disused Midland & South Western Junction Railway Line.

Opened in 1991, The River Ray Parkway is already well used by commuters travelling across Swindon and for recreational use by walkers, joggers, horse riders & cyclists.

Whether you want to walk from end to end or just use it as a starting point for shorter walks, the River ray Parkway is an excellent way of getting out and enjoying the countryside around Swindon.
