Swindon has eight sports centres, The County Ground Lifestyle Centre, Croft Sports Centre, Dorcan Recreation Complex, Haydon Centre, Highworth Rec, Health Hydro, Link Centre and Oasis. Five of the centres have swimming pools including a fun pool at the Oasis, while the Link Centre also houses the town's ice skating rink and climbing wall.
Activities ranging from Football to squash, netball to badminton, basketball to gym workouts are just a few of the sports that can be undertaken at the centres to help you stay fit and healthy.
Golf fans can enjoy the championship standard par 71 course at Broome Manor Golf Complex, the picturesque course at Wrag Barn, the par 3 course at Moredon, the community golf centre at Highworth or the pitch and putt at Coate Water, while tennis fans can hone their skills by going along to the Delta Tennis Centre or using the outdoor courts at the Town Gardens or at St Marks Centre.
For those who would rather cheer on others, Swindon Town Football Club play in League 1 of the Football League, Swindon Ice Hockey team play home games at the Link Centre, Greyhound Racing and Speedway both take place at The Abbey Stadium in Blunsdon, just north of the town centre.
