These stunning, circa 19th century 2 and 3 double bed barn conversions boast bespoke oak and original timbers in cathedral-type ceilings. Modern, luxurious, spacious and light-filled cottages with country views, this small group of barns are now lovely holiday cottages. The outside spaces have privacy along with distant views of the country-side including the local White Horse on the hillside. Other features are linen, towels, toiletries and ample parking, full utility rooms, plus a Wireless Broadband system is available to the barns.

DRAKES BARN
Property description
This barn is overlooking a large pond with waterfall feature and ducks. The internal style is light and contemporary/shaker with soft leather sofas and solid oak furniture. Drakes barn also has a large, oak-beamed, open-plan living/dining area with well equipped kitchen area. A large wall-mounted TV with surround sound, DVD and CD player is featured here. Floor to apex oak-framed picture windows flood the barn with light. Double patio doors open onto the large east-facing terrace and expansive lawn. Another door exits onto the west-facing deck which over-hangs the pond where ducks and swallows can be observed.

At one end of the barn is a comfortable 5ft double bedroom with wall-mounted TV and with adjacent well equipped double shower-room, ‘soft-close’ WC and hand-basin with vanity. Also included are a mirrored wall unit plus magnified make-up mirror and shaving socket and heated towel rail. The twin-bedded (zip & link) room also has a wall-mounted TV plus a well furnished en-suite bathroom with full sized bath with shower over, rubber ducks and all the same features of the previous shower-room.

OWL BARN

Owl Barn is a very contemporary barn with all the original old restored beams and large bespoke oak windows and doors. The use of green oak for the frame adds another soft touch. The décor is soft, warm maple and coffee with a touch of tropical sunshine. The kitchen has all modern conveniences with a good sized dining area within the space. Again solid oak timber furniture with leather chairs and sofas for a little luxury to complete the room, adding to the large TV & DVD with surround sound.

The two biggest bedrooms have 5 ft beds, one being a contemporary four-poster, a chest of drawers, dressing table with chair and wardrobe. The master has an en-suite double shower-room with ‘soft-close’ WC, basin with mirrored wall unit, magnified make-up mirror, shaving socket and vanity. The second bedroom and third bunk room share the nearby bathroom which has a full size bath with over-shower. Also included are the same features as in the en-suite.

EAGLE BARN

Eagle Barn is a contemporary barn with all the original old restored beams and large bespoke oak windows and doors. Three double bedrooms, three bath/shower-rooms, cloakroom, utility and the normal living spaces have been included in this barn. The use of green oak for the frame adds another soft touch. The décor is warm cream, gold and green colours with a touch of tropical sunshine. The spacious open planned living area has a large flat-screen TV with Free-view, plus DVD with surround sound. The kitchen has all modern conveniences including a double oven, granite surfaces, large fridge, etc. The large sized dining area has solid oak and leather furniture. The fully equipped Utility room and Cloak room with ‘soft-close WC‘, hand basin with vanity and mirror are also included.

The biggest bedroom has a 5 ft bed, silk curtains, a chest of drawers and wardrobe. Also an en-suite wet-room with double shower and body-jets a ‘soft-close’ WC, basin with mirrored wall unit and vanity plus magnified make-up mirror and shaving socket.
The second bedroom has a 5ft bed and en-suite double shower-room with the same features as the previous bedroom & en-suite. Nearby is the family bathroom which has a full size bath with over-shower and the same features as the previous en-suite plus a heated towel radiator. This bathroom is near the third bedroom which is large with twin 3ft (zip & link) beds.

Facilities
Located near the village of Clyffe Pypard and the town of Wootton Bassett we are very close to the Ridgeway footpath trail and the Wiltshire Cycle Way. Also nearby are Swindon and the famous Stonehenge and Avebury Stone Circle along with trendy Bath, Lacock Village, Marlborough, Castle Coombe, Cirencester and Malmesbury and Malmesbury Abbey and Gardens. There are several excellent golf courses, including Wiltshire Golf and Country Club with swimming pool and gym, nearby as well as lovely pubs and wonderful eating establishments. Nearest pub is 2 miles away.

Road Directions

Parsonage Farm is located south of the M4 junction 16 to Wootton Bassett. Following the Marlborough Road towards Broadtown from Wootton Bassett, take the Bushton turn to the right and it is on a country road between the villages of Thornhill and Clyffe Pypard. After the first sign-post to Thornhill there is another one off to the left - take this turn and we are 500 metes on the right.
