DRAKES BARN
Property description
This barn is overlooking a large pond with waterfall feature and ducks. The internal style is light and contemporary/shaker with soft leather sofas and solid oak furniture. Drakes barn also has a large, oak-beamed, open-plan living/dining area with well equipped kitchen area. A large wall-mounted TV with surround sound, DVD and CD player is featured here. Floor to apex oak-framed picture windows flood the barn with light. Double patio doors open onto the large east-facing terrace and expansive lawn. Another door exits onto the west-facing deck which over-hangs the pond where ducks and swallows can be observed.
At one end of the barn is a comfortable 5ft double bedroom with wall-mounted TV and with adjacent well equipped double shower-room, ‘soft-close’ WC and hand-basin with vanity. Also included are a mirrored wall unit plus magnified make-up mirror and shaving socket and heated towel rail. The biggest bedroom has a 5 ft bed, silk curtains, a chest of drawers and wardrobe. Also an en-suite wet-room with double shower and body-jets a ‘soft-close’ WC, basin with mirrored wall unit and vanity plus magnified make-up mirror and shaving socket.
The second bedroom has a 5ft bed and en-suite double shower-room with the same features as the previous bedroom & en-suite. Nearby is the family bathroom which has a full size bath with over-shower and the same features as the previous en-suite plus a heated towel radiator. Located near the village of Clyffe Pypard and the town of Wootton Bassett we are very close to the Ridgeway footpath trail and the Wiltshire Cycle Way. Also nearby are Swindon and the famous Stonehenge and Avebury Stone Circle along with trendy Bath, Lacock Village, Marlborough, Castle Coombe, Cirencester and Malmesbury and Malmesbury Abbey and Gardens. There are several excellent golf courses, including Wiltshire Golf and Country Club with swimming pool and gym, nearby as well as lovely pubs and wonderful eating establishments. Nearest pub is 2 miles away.

Parsonage Farm is located south of the M4 junction 16 to Wootton Bassett. Following the Marlborough Road towards Broadtown from Wootton Bassett, take the Bushton turn to the right and it is on a country road between the villages of Thornhill and Clyffe Pypard. After the first sign-post to Thornhill there is another one off to the left - take this turn and we are 500 metes on the right.
