Road Directions

From Wiltshire, follow signs for Blandford along the A354 or the A350. Once in Blandford, follow signs to Bere Regis, along the A31. Monkey World is located on the A31 between Wool and Bere Regis. Please follow the brown tourist signs for "Monkey World" which are situated at various sites within a few miles radius to the park.For satellite navigation, our post code is BH20 6HH.

By Train

By train from London Waterloo to Wool:

Aproximately 2.5 hours (journey time)

Monday to Saturday

08.05 from London Waterloo arrives at Wool at 10.34.

Trains then run at 5 minutes past each hour.

After 14.30 times change - please enquire.

Sundays - please enquire as times change frequently due to track repairs.

From Wool to Waterloo, London:

2.5 - 3 hours (journey time)

Monday to Saturday

Trains run at 45 minutes past the hour.

Sundays - please enquire as times change frequently due to track repairs.

Wool train station is approximately 1.5 miles away from the park. There are usually taxis available at Wool train station to complete your journey to the park. We do not recommend walking to the park, as there are limited footpaths and a fast road.

 By Bus

Please note: Monkey World do not operate a bus service and are unable to answer queries regarding bus transport to the park.

 By Air

Our closest airport is Bournemouth which is about 25 miles away from the park ( From here you can either take a taxi or bus to Bournemouth train station, and then the train directly to Wool station.

Southampton Airport is about 50 miles from Monkey World. Trains run directly from Southampton Airport Parkway to Wool.

    Visited on a very windy day so some of the monkeys preferred to stay inside but if you go to the talks (they start at noon, then every half hour afterwards), the monkeys come outside for the keepers... Read full review
