The Trowbridge Chamber supports and connects start-ups, entrepreneurs and SMEs, encourages inward investment and promotes Trowbridge as an excellent place to do business.
County Town
Trowbridge is the county town of Wiltshire and is known for its long industrial history as one of the world’s most important wool milling towns.
Trowbridge is home to Wiltshire County Council, large businesses such as Apetito, Consortium, Airsprung and Hitachi, leisure developments including St Stephen’s Place and Cradle Park, the 65 acre White Horse Business Park, The Shires and Spitfire Park shopping centres, historic mills, over 300 listed buildings, town parks, riverside nature trails and a wide range of independent shops, restaurants and cafes.

Voted one of the most up-and-coming places to live in the UK and referred to as a ‘sleeping giant’, Trowbridge offers excellent investment and trading opportunities. The town has recently been awarded £16.3 million from the Future High Street Fund, bringing exciting new developments to the town centre.
Excellent Transport Links
The centrally located train station has direct trains to Bath, London, Cardiff and Brighton. Trowbridge is within easy reach of the M4, A36 and A303 and is approximately 50 minutes from Bristol Airport.
What we do
The Trowbridge Chamber aims to be the voice and central point of contact for local and regional businesses, linking fellow members, organising networking events, talks and workshops, signposting to grants and business support and encouraging inward investment.
The Chamber also represents local business interests to Trowbridge Town Council, Wiltshire County Council and the media, shares news of grant funding, training and business opportunities and has active and expanding social media networking platforms.
