We have decided to sell our beautiful 70 foot narrow boat, it is equiped to run a Hotel boat from, the layout lends itself perfectly for this. With boat owners accomodation and bathroom seperate form your guests. THe guest accomodation comprises of covered bow, bedroom fitted with double bed and ample storage space, own private bathroom with pump out toilet and shower, lounge with internet router TV, double sofa bed and swan hatch, the kitchen is in the middle of the boat providing an ideal sepertion of guest area. Next is a multifunction room with a fold up dining room table, we also used it as a massage room. Then we have crew accomodation, own bathroom and double sofa bed leading out to the stern. It is registered with the CRT as a hotel boat.

It has full central heating, wood burner in lounge, new engine installed 2018, central heating serviced 2024, BSS done this year, Blacking and last survey march 2023.

This boat is ready to go for the new season located in a popular holiday location.

The Whistling Swan is a 70ft narrowboat, which has been fitted out for your comfort, we cruise along the Kennet and Avon canal, and are based around Devizes by the famous Caen Hill Locks. Michael and Fiona are your hosts, with many years experience in hospitality, will make you stay as comfortable as possible. if you want to experience a Narrowboat holiday without having to do locks and worry about being at the helm all day, then this is the perfect holiday for you!

Accommodation is a double fixed bed with room for 2 additional adults sharing a comfortable sofa bed, which doubles up as a lounge with TV and WIFI is available. Guests have their own private bathroom. Tea, coffee and breakfast are included.

On the boat there is limited water and electricity, please be aware of this when booking please don’t bring any high use electrical equipment like hairdryers, as they will not work aboard the boat. We are fully insured as a commercial vessel and licenced with the Canal and River trust.

We can provide lunch, and evening meals onboard, or stop at a pub on route the choice is yours. Unfortunately we do not have an alcohol licence, we only provide tea and coffee. There will be opportunities to stop at a local shop if needed.
