The photos don't describe the true beauty of the Owl Barn apartments. Fantastic and responsive hosts, spotless clean and excellent selection of restaurants in close proximity. We can't recommend the place more, it's truly one of the best experiences we had in recent years.

In short, Toby and Mandy's place is nothing but outstanding. It was a delight to spend a few days here on a recent trip to the area. Chalk is exactly as described, and well appointed. It is beautifully designed, with a great meadow view. The bed was extremely comfortable, the shower powerful and the kitchen stocked with all the crockery and utensils you need to actually be able to cook. After long days at work, it was good to come back to a television with AirPlay, so I could stream straight to it. The location is great, with easy access to Swindon and the M4, which was extremely useful. To top all of this, a sticky ginger cake, a bottle of wine and some milk made me feel very welcome when I first arrived. Thank you for a delightful stay; I'll be sure to come back if I'm next in the area!

Perfect weekend away! The Owl Barn is beautiful and cosy. We did a long run round the Coombs Hinton Parva Trail (starting from the village hall round the corner) and then went to some of the pubs in Wanborough in the evening. Perfectly clean and lovely little touches all over the place. Done to such a high standard, we have already said we’ll come back again and we’ve only just left!

We had a wonderful stay! The accommodation is beautiful, and a lot of care has been taken to make it nice! We stayed for 4 weeks in total, and had regular weekly cleans. When we checked in some delicious cake and wine was left for us. The location has access to some great walks, and you aren’t far from some nice places to go for a wonder and a shop. The place is spacious, has lovely light, and a great bath if you’re a bath person! Plus a really comfortable bed! I would recommend Toby’s listing to friends and family that wanted to stay in the area, and I would happily stay again! Thank you so much!

My stay at Toby's place was absolutely exceptional! It was a truly magical experience and the best Airbnb we’ve been to in the UK. We were so impressed with the cleanliness and attention to detail on arrival, which made for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The barn's location is in a lovely small serene countryside town and is located conveniently 10 minutes drive from local supermarkets, which made for a perfect retreat. I highly recommend Toby's Owl Barn to anyone, I can't wait to visit again in the future!

If Toby's place is available BOOK IT! You will not be disappointed! Had a lovely few days away at The Owl Barn in Chalk. The space is well thought out, well equipped and just beautifully finished! We loved the decoration, the bath was an absolute dream! Comfy bed and side, snuggly blankets, candles and soft lighting. I really needed a quiet space to switch off and get away from the pressures of life and The Owl Barn was the perfect place! The homemade cake, milk and wine on arrival was a lovely touch and welcomed after our journey. meaning we could put the kettle on straight away and put our feet up. I could go on and on about how much we loved it here. Thank you Toby for being a wonderful host.

Wonderful stay at this beautiful barn. We stayed for 2 nights and felt right at home. The barn is super easy to reach from the motorway and Toby greeted us with a warm welcome. The apartment was absolutely stunning and so well designed, we felt right at home and the cake and wine on arrival was a lovely touch. Perfect place to stay for a quiet couple of days, could not recommend it more!

I wanted to stay somewhere for 2 nights to recharge my batteries and explore mountain biking in the area. I did both! The barn has been so beautifully finished and Toby and Mandy made me feel very welcome… the homemade ginger cake was so tasty! Super easy check-in, the wifi is good and the tv had all the options I could wish for. Very well equipped kitchen. A wonderful bath and a comfortable bed - I really needed both after great rides from the barn to Avebury, then to Marlborough, then back to the barn. Thank you both!

We had a fantastic stay at the Owl Barn. Toby and Mandy couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. The barn was amazing, thoughtfully designed with everything we could hope for inside. A perfect mix of cosy fittings and modern conveniences. Getting to see Barney the barn owl fly around the paddock at the back was a delightful bonus too!

The Owl barn is incredible! Toby and his wife were extremely accommodating and friendly. The place is better than the photos and exceeded all our expectations… the surroundings are peaceful and the unit was extremely dreamy. Everything was carefully thought out and it makes for an incredibly pleasant stay. it will become our home away from home whenever we need a break from the city!

The Owl Barn - Flint was a well designed, cozy cottage. We organically felt right at home and relaxed with the amazing bath tub, while also having the ability to travel locally for sight seeing & meals. Would 10/10 recommend!

Toby’s place was a perfect oasis of peace and quiet in the countryside, yet still not far from a lot of things to do. The property is beautifully and thoughtfully furnished, and little touches like the Lemon Drizzle Cake and the bottle of wine, candles and bath salts made it feel really homely. Make sure you look up at night, as the area is really dark and you can see so many stars! Highly recommend this place and it’s one of the best we’ve stayed in after travelling around the UK for 6 months.

Absolutely awesome.
This is a little piece of design perfection with such thoughtful little touches throughout the barn.
Wonderful hosts, beautiful layout and attention to detail, incredibly comfy bed, gorgeous to look at while still maintaining a cosy and homely atmosphere.
We had an amazing stay and can't wait to return. One of those rare places you don't want to leave too glowing a review as you want to keep it just for yourselves!
