Helen is a mixed media and textile artist who draws inspiration from the remnants of scriptures, motifs, symbols and pictographs left behind in caves, burial sites, ancient stones and the prehistoric landscape. For Echoes and Threads Exhibition Helen has been creating a small collection of textile pieces inspired by ancient pottery, patterns and clothing. Join Helen for this Solstice Hand-Painted Tee Shirt workshop to create your own one-off unique tee shirt for summer gatherings, walking in the landscape and exploring hidden places. Participants will create a hand-painted tee shirt in fabric paint inspired by neolithic and bronze age symbols, motifs, and petroglyphs.
