Venues that regularly hold exhibitions in Wiltshire
Young Gallery
The Young Gallery sits above Salisbury’s central library. There’s a permanent collection of works by artists including Albert Goodwin and John Nash as well as temporary exhibition spaces.
Swindon Museum and Art Gallery
Housed in the Old Town of Swindon, Swindon Museum and Art Gallery's art collection has a reputation for one of the best collections of British 20th Century Art outside London.
Fisherton Mill
Within Salisbury’s Fisherton Mill you’ll find ever-changing contemporary arts and crafts collections, from makers across the UK.
Sarum College
A Grade 1 Listed building within Salisbury’s Cathedral Close, Sarum College houses regular arts exhibitions as well as one-off events.
The Pound Arts Centre
Make a visit to The Pound Arts Centre in Corsham with its own gallery and three resident artists.
Stonehenge visitor centre
Stonehenge’s visitor centre houses both a permanent archaeology exhibition within the visitor centre plus temporary exhibitions with various Stonehenge-related themes.
Fox Talbot Museum at Lacock Abbey
The Fox Talbot Museum is dedicated to photography and various photographic exhibitions take place throughout the year here.
Salisbury Museum
Salisbury Museum houses fantastic collections, events and exhibitions year round within Salisbury’s Cathedral Close.
Wiltshire Museum
Wiltshire Museum in Devizes houses regular exhibitions as well as a busy events programme.
Trowbridge Museum
Trowbridge Museum has approximately three temporary exhibitions held per year.
Biennial exhibitions and open studio events
Look out for both the Wylye Valley Art Trail and the Salisbury Art Trail, both of which occur every other year and offer the opportunity to see artists’ studios and galleries that are not usually open to the public.
