AboutTo help keep the Cotswolds entertained in the great outdoors, Westonbirt The National Arboretum are hosting an exciting series of events to keep all ages entertained this February half term!
Get arty amongst the trees, at our Fun with Sticks family event from Monday 17 to Friday 21 February. We'll be getting messy making charcoal, creating winter twig shadow drawings and printing with sticks – and we'd love for you to join us. And all family arts and crafts events are free after entry to the arboretum.
Or you can set off on an out-of-this-world adventure together with Shaun the Sheep on our Farmaggeddon Glow Trail. Help Shaun get Lu-La, a lovable alien who has crash landed in Silk Wood, home by finding clues in the woods and completing puzzles and challenges on the free app. You'll have to be quick though, Agent Red and her hapless helpers the Hazmats will be hot on your trail! Once all the challenges are completed Lu-La's communicator will charge and unlock an augmented reality hidden spaceship where you can have your picture taken.
A Shaun the Sheep Farmageddon Glow Trail kit will be available to buy at the Welcome Building for £3.50 and includes a UV pen-torch, Shaun the Sheep ears, a clue sheet, an activity booklet, a sticker sheet and a pencil to make note of your answers! The clue hunt app is free from www.forestryengland.uk/shaunthesheep and will need to be downloaded before arrival.
