This 12 week MONDAYS ONLY course is popular with those looking to give a 'shine' to cooking skills at home and increase kitchen confidence from whatever level you start. It will help further a career in any aspect of the food, culinary or catering industry and is perfect if you are looking to or running a cafe, bed and breakfast or becoming a chalet or yacht chef.
This course will give you a thorough grounding in the core cooking and kitchen skills including all aspects of good kitchen practice.
You will be taught how to prepare, cook and finish:
- Meat, poultry and fish
- Cakes, pastries, biscuits and breads
- Special dietary requirements
- 'Naturally balanced' dishes that maximise nutrition without compromising on taste
Our CTH - Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality approved professional course also covers all aspects of food safety and good kitchen practices, and you will also complete the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering.
Students will be taught in a small group and will receive a practical, hands-on experience.
£1850 for 12 week Mondays only course covering 90 hours of Hands-on Training, Course notes, All ingredients, and equipment, Daily refreshments and lunch, 2 x chefs aprons, Recipe library, External exam and assessment fees & course books for CTH and RSPH, Certificates, Work experience (if chosen).
