Ideas For Sunny Days in Wiltshire
If the sun is shining when you visit Wiltshire then we are sure you’ll want to make the most of the weather and get out and about. We’ve put together some suggestions for what to do on sunny days across the county.
Take to the waters
Ok so we may not have a coastline here in Wiltshire however we do have lots of waterways. Perhaps you’d like to soak up the sun in one of our riverside pub gardens? Or how about strolling along the tow path of the Kennet & Avon Canal? You can even hire canoes and kayaks from certain points along the way or join in on a boat cruise.
In the north of the county at the Cotswold Water Park try your hand at boating, hiring a pedalo or some more adventurous water sports. There’s even a lakeside beach!
Go on an adventure with Wiltshire Outdoor Learning Team, and explore the Wiltshire waters on a Stand Up Paddle Boarding session. Perfect for a team building activity.
If you want something a little more tranquil then why not visit one of our hotels with outdoor swimming pools and spas?
