Constructed around 3,400 BC, West Kennet is one of the largest Neolithic chambers in Britain.
The impressive site was the resting place for many souls; visitors can walk into five chambers. When it became disused, the entrance was covered by two large Sarsen stones.
From this vantage point visitors can admire the view of nearby Silbury Hill and the Ridgeway.
This momument is one of the oldest in the Avebury World Heritage Site.
