produce.
Salisbury's Food and Drink Festival is a celebration of the very best of local produce and cooking. Last year the event was on Sunday, 21 September 2008 in the Market Place, Salisbury. Sixty stall holders displayed their wares in a feast of local produce ranging from sausages to cider, sweets to preserves. There was a beer and wine tent, Wiltshire Farmers' Market Stalls, a food hall, barbeques, hog roasts and entertainment. There was also a hotly contested waiters' race with entrants from a variety of Salisbury's favourite restaurants.
