Local Food Awards
Wiltshire can offer a distinctive range of locally produced food and drink and our two local food awards have been developed to encourage the use of this local produce in Hotels, B & Bs, Restaurants and Pubs across the county.
Look out for establishments displaying the following logos:
Wiltshire Breakfast Award
The Wiltshire Breakfast Award is a Food and Drink initiative introduced to recognise and reward good service from providers using local produce throughout the tourism industry. In order to receive the award, hoteliers and bed and breakfast businesses have to provide evidence that local produce is being used in the breakfast which is provided to guests.
The award is renewed annually, so you can be sure that any establishment which displays the Wiltshire Breakfast logo is providing a breakfast consisting of mainly locally produced food and drink.
Wiltshire Food and Drink Award
The Wiltshire Food and Drink Award is another food and drink initiative introduced to recognise and reward good service from providers using local produce throughout the hospitality industry. In order to receive the award, hoteliers, restauranteurs and publicans have to provide evidence that local produce is being used in their catering.
The award is renewed annually, so you can feel confident that any establishment displaying the Wiltshire Food and Drink Logo will be offering a good variety of locally produced food and drink on their menus.
