Town centre restaurants

Browse for restaurants in central locations across the county from Italian through to traditional English pubs – there’s plenty of choice on offer.

Lots of our restaurants retain original features, a reminder of the extensive history Wiltshire has on offer..

Many hotels have great on site restaurants such as the River's Edge Restaurant at the Legacy Rose and Crown Hotel in Salisbury, situated on the waterfront with beautiful views of Salisbury Cathedral.  The Allium Restaurant on the market square in Salisbury is family-run fine dining restaurant, serving the best of modern British cuisine.

Countryside locations

Discover restaurants with pretty countryside surroundings, gardens you can explore after your perfect meal and some offering al fresco dining.

You can even eat at a hotel with its own vineyard!

The Riverbarn Restaurant is adored by committed foodies, walkers and sightseers alike. The restaurant enjoys an excellent reputation for its imaginative menus and has gained significant critical acclaim. Situated in a picturesque village of Fonthill Bishop in glorious countryside beside a tranquil river flowing to the stunning lake on the beautiful and historically fascinating Fonthill Estate - one not to miss!

Situated in the old town of Mere, in Norwood Park, is the Visit Hillbrush Restaurant - whether it's a relaxing break for brunch or lunch, afternoon tea or a quick 'grab and go' meal before you set off on the road again, Visit Hillbrush will satisfy all your hunger needs!
