Ramsbury

When the weather’s fine, there’s nothing better than sitting outside with a glass of wine in your hand and enjoying the fresh air over some food.

Here’s a handy guide giving you some of the top spots to enjoy alfresco dining in Wiltshire and reasons why you should book a table now!

The Old Ale and Coffee House, Salisbury

One of Salisbury’s pubs, this food haunt has been recently refurbished and now features a courtyard garden complete with three beach huts, patios and benches. Look out for special events including BBQs, gin tasting and music. Plus, you are just a short stroll away from many of the city’s attractions.

The Bell Inn, Ramsbury

Not only is this pub located in the super-pretty village of Ramsbury but it also offers award-winning dining both inside and out. Much of the food is locally-sourced and you can even sample the Ramsbury beers, produced in the nearby Ramsbury Brewery.

The Ox Row, Salisbury

Enjoy watching the hustle and bustle of Salisbury’s Market Place from outside the Ox Row Inn. This Grade II Listed pub dates back to the 16th century and offers real ales and fresh food.

Woolley Grange Hotel, Bradford on Avon

Explore the fine grounds of Woolley Grange Hotel before or after a spot of food. A lot of the fruit and vegetables used in the hotel’s dishes come from the kitchen garden. Look out for the ever-popular afternoon teas as well and take in the views across to Westbury White Horse.
